Evaluation is an analytical process – sometimes conducted by or with the aid of external agencies – throughout the various stages of a work integration programme, from the initial design to implementation and conclusion, and also more and more frequently during follow-up on the programmes’ impacts. Evaluation consists of a body of knowledge and research methodologies supported by scientific theories. It relies on periodic assessments involving the collection, testing, processing and return of information and the engagement of the different stakeholders of a work integration programme.
